Brief description:
The 9th Annual Jazz and Freedom Festival will feature the superb 17 piece DC Starlight Orchestra, the amazing JII Jazz Combo, and introduce the phenomenal Donovan Claybrooks backed by the Jazz and Freedom All Stars. A jam session, which is open to anyone who would like to sit in, will round out the evening. Come for the music, phenomenal Mr. Henry’s service, and camaraderie with like-minded individuals who love jazz, freedom, and justice. All proceeds benefit Just Neighbors, a nonprofit which provides legal services for immigration. The jam session will start around 9:15 pm.
